Nancy Drew: Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon Hints
How do I win the games?
1 of 5: There are two games to play in here: "Gold Rush," which is a Pachinko-style game, and an unnamed horse race game.
2 of 5: Both of them are random games with no skill involved. All you do is turn them on and watch them go.
3 of 5: In Gold Rush, the goal is to get the miner up the mountain before the Yeti. You pull the lever at the right to send ball bearings bouncing around the pins. If they land on the outlaw or the rattlesnake, the miner is slowed down; if they land on the dynamite or the mule, the miner gets a boost. I tried pulling more or less, shorter or longer, faster or slower, and it didn't seem to make any difference. Just pop the little balls all over the place and see what happens!
4 of 5: In the horse race, the goal is to pick the horse that happens to win the next race. This is completely random, as far as I could tell. You might find it less frustrating to pick one horse and play it over and over until it wins.
5 of 5: When you get one token from each game, go over to the Happeee Taffeee machine and use them to get taffy on a stick. Yum.
