Nancy Drew: Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon Hints
How do I open the box on the little table?
1 of 8: You won't be able to open this box till after you get to Copper Gorge, when you ask John for something he says is in the box.
2 of 8: There's an obvious keyhole, but as John said, he lost the key. Rats.
3 of 8: To open the box, you need to press on the panels on top in the correct order. But what's the order?
4 of 8: The pictures seem to tell a story. Can you figure out what's happening here?
5 of 8: There's an old puzzle-story about a man with a fox, a goose, and a bag of grain trying to get across a lake in a boat that will only carry him and one passenger. He can't leave the fox and the goose together, or the goose and the grain, so how does he do it?
6 of 8: In the old story, the man carries the goose alone and leaves it on the other side, then goes back and gets the grain and carries it over; then he takes the goose back with him and leaves it on the first side while he takes the fox over. Then he goes back and gets the goose, and he's all done.
7 of 8: This is the same general plot, only with a cat, a wolf, and a peacock being moved from the left bank to the right one. Notice the front of the box; it shows a wolf eating a cat who's eating a peacock. The first panel is the top center, and the last one is the bottom center. See if you can put the panels in order now.
