Nancy Drew: Danger By Design Hints
How do I make tea for Minette?
1 of 8: The tea station is a large and beautiful Chinese-style bureau on the right as you enter Minette's studio. Go look at it and see what you can figure out. Read all the way to the end of this hint for a list of the herbs you need.
2 of 8: That sheaf of paper is the list of instructions. Read through every page; Nancy will ask Minette a few questions as she reads.
3 of 8: Okay, let's look at the instructions one by one.
4 of 8: Now you have all the rules that apply to today's tea: you need all the herbs that are from the Gaviforme family, those with a potency of 7 or more, and those that grow in a marshy area.
5 of 8: Read through the remaining pages of the instructions to see the characteristics of the fifteen herbs on the top shelf. Add every herb that meets any of those rules; you don't need to look for one that meets all of them. If you come across one that one rule says should go in and another says shouldn't go in, put it in.
6 of 8: Put the herbs you want in the large pot, and when you think you have them all, click on the teapot at left. (Incidentally, this is NOT the best way to make tea in real life; you get better tea if you put the herbs in the empty pot, then pour the boiling water on top of them. But -- oh, I forgot, this isn't real life, is it?)
7 of 8: After you make the tea, leave the room, and when you're in the office Minette will tell you if you got it right. Don't panic if you messed it up; Minette will get mad, but you can try again as many times as you need to.
