Nancy Drew: Danger By Design Hints
How do I stop the squirrel from resetting the pinwheel?
1 of 4: If you zoom in as close as you can to the pinwheel and click on the bare patch of ground to the left, Nancy will make a suggestion. If you're playing as a junior, she'll tell you exactly what to do; if you're a senior, she'll be much more vague.
2 of 4: What you need here is the same kind of thing you'd use in your own garden to scare away rodents: something that will be stirred by the wind and make a lot of random noise and keep the squirrel away from the pinwheel. You can find everything you need here in the park.
3 of 4: You'll need three things: a wooden stake, a spool of string, and an aluminum pie pan. Buy them from the vendors.
4 of 4: Back at the pinwheel, put the stake in the dirt to the left of the pinwheel. Tie the string on the top of the stake, then tie the pan on the bottom of the string. You can now set the pinwheel to purple on top and walk away confident that it will stay that way.
