Nancy Drew: The Creature of Kapu Cave Hints
Should I play as a Junior or Senior Detective?
If you play as a Junior detective, Nancy will keep a checklist so you can see what tasks you still need to complete. (Don't get too hung up on checking things off; sometimes Nancy won't let you check off things you have definitely done.) She will also occasionally think out loud so you know what you should do next (saying things like, "I wonder what would happen if I pulled that switch?"). And though you won't have Bess and George to help, you can always call Nancy's long-suffering boyfriend Ned for hints -- but as always, the hints are quite often not that helpful.
If you play as a Senior detective, there's no checklist, and Nancy doesn't give you hints. Neither does Ned, though Nancy will still sometimes talk things over with him, and that helps. Sometimes. Sort of.
As far as I can tell, the puzzles are the same in both versions, except for (maybe) the end game. I'll see you when we get there!
