How do I analyze the samples?
1 of 5: Once you have the plant sample from Hilihili, you're ready to start. Read the last page of the clipboard for some notes on how to do this.
2 of 5: To begin, zoom in on the table where the microscope is. You should see the little leaf piece on the counter. Click on it to put it into a test tube, then click on the bottle labeled "Bq19" to pick up the eye dropper. Click it on the test tube to dissolve it. And that's it!
3 of 5: Now do the same thing with the frass from the red bag, which is on the counter at the right.
4 of 5: Oh. Hmm. It's not the same. What now? As Nancy says, go talk to Dr. Kim.
5 of 5: When you come back from Dr. Kim, put the white box on the table next to the test tubes. Click on one of the items in the box to put it into a test tube and repeat the process with the eye dropper. When you find one that matches the frass sample, you found it! Go back to Dr. Kim and report your findings.
