Nancy Drew: The Creature of Kapu Cave Hints

How do I get past the guy with the teeth?

  • 1 of 11: You need two things to get past the teeth: a way to move the teeth, and knowledge of how to move them once you CAN move them.
  • 2 of 11: Both of these things will have to come from someone else, ultimately.
  • 3 of 11: To get the teeth moving, look closely at the whole face. Is there something missing?
  • 4 of 11: Click on the face's nose to find that its nostrils are actual holes. Something has to go in there, then (and not nasal spray).
  • 5 of 11: After you finishing analyzing all the plant samples for Dr. Kim, she'll tell you to take something from her bag that will work here. This won't happen till late in the game, so you can forget it for now.
  • 6 of 11: Okay, now the teeth can move. But what pictures do we want to show?
  • 7 of 11: Well, have you seen designs like this anywhere else? If not, it's time to switch over to Frank and see what he can find out.
  • 8 of 11: Now that you've seen the chart Frank found, you might think this is dead simple -- just put the teeth in the same order as the teeth on the chart.
  • 9 of 11: And it's almost that simple, but not quite, since the first tooth doesn't have an eel, which is the first picture.
  • 10 of 11: Luckily, though, the first two teeth are the only ones that are weird; the rest of them follow the chart. Arrange the teeth like this:
  • 11 of 11: Top row: Shark - eel - turtle - octopus
Bottom row: Porcupine fish - crab - sea urchin - manta ray
And if you're really uncertain if you've got the right ones, here's a screenshot:
