Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek Hints
What's going on in here?
1 of 5: This is the back door to Trapper Dan's Needle, the place you've been trying to get to ever since you found that little bit of nylon stuck in the door of the Needle way back on the first day. Much of it is described in Trapper Dan's Journal.
2 of 5: From the main room with the map box, you can see a small tunnel (too small for Nancy), and there's also a ladder in the corner.
3 of 5: The ladder leads to a passage that forks; the right fork leads to a rope and a small ore elevator, and the left fork leads to a locked door with four small panels with animals on them.
4 of 5: That locked door next to the panels is the one that leads to the Needle itself. The animal panels are the lock.
5 of 5: In order to open the door, you need to first open the three closed panels (the wolf panel is already open), then find and insert the four animal disks, or counters as Trapper Dan calls them, in the round slots.
