Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek Hints
What's the difference between junior and senior detective?
The game gives a lot more help to junior detectives than it does to senior detectives.
Juniors have a checklist so they can see what tasks they need to complete; they can get hints from Tino (oh joy) on the phone; some of the puzzles are a little easier; and Nancy will sometimes say things out loud that are helpful. Seniors have to do without those things, which often leave you standing around wondering what you're supposed to do next, plus some of the puzzles are harder.
My habit is to play as a junior the first time through, so I can pay more attention to the story; then the second time through, when I know what's supposed to happen, I play again as a senior. (Just like real life, in fact.)
