How can I call people without a cell phone?
There's a phone in the lobby, behind the registration desk next to the computer, that Nancy can use whenever she wants. Nobody else is EVER in the lobby, so your calls will be completely private, which is nice.
Almost all the numbers you find will be listed in Nancy's notebook. To see them, click on the notebook, then click on "Phone Numbers." In two instances, Nancy picks up something with a phone number on it and doesn't write it in her notebook. When that happens, you can look at the thing in inventory to read the phone number.
The phone itself is a little weird. For one thing, the dial tone doesn't shut off when you start to dial, the way a real phone does. For another, you don't have to dial a 1 before the long distance calls; just start with the area code and go from there. Other than that, it works just like a real phone. And hey, you don't have to use a phone card this time, like you did in "Danger By Design." Yay!
