How do I get inside Trapper Dan's Needle?

  • 1 of 4: This looks like an easy puzzle; you just walk up to the Needle and open the door. Right?
  • 2 of 4: But in fact, it's a lot harder than that.
  • 3 of 4: In fact, you won't get into the Needle until the very end of the game. And even then, you'll be getting in the back door rather than the front door, as Ned suggests.
  • 4 of 4: After you've looked at the outside of the Needle, you can pretty much forget about it till you're inside it.  Concentrate instead on following up on other clues -- like those wolf tracks, for instance -- and they will eventually lead you back to the Needle at the very end of the game.
