Playing Tips
Most detectives write down important clues as they investigate. You should too! Keep a pen or pencil and a pad of paper handy while playing.
Everything that Nancy can pick up is important in the game, even if you have no idea why or where it could be used when you first find it.
The magnifying glass is used to move around in the game. When the outline around it turns blue, you can move in that direction. When the outline turns red, you can do something with the object or place where you are looking.
You can sometimes knock on closed doors. Move your cursor over the upper part of the center of the door. If the outline of the magnifying glass turns red, click on it to knock.
When talking to other people in the game, try to ask all the questions you can to cover all topics.
If you get stuck, call your friends and ask them for help. Sometimes this is the only way to get things moving again. (The phone is located in the entry room of the apartment.)
Changing from day to night (and visa versa) is sometimes necessary to do new things.
If you make a mistake during an important part, you can choose "Second Chance" from the main menu and try again.
