Help for Juniors

  • 1 of 5: It will take a long time to solve it.  Don't worry ... Help is here!
  • 2 of 5: It might help to draw the puzzle on a piece of paper.  Draw a square with 9 blocks.  Inside each block, describe the parts of the bird's body as they appear on the puzzle at the beginning.
  • 3 of 5: Draw the same thing again, but this time write in where they should be when the puzzle is done.  (My versions of both are below.)
  • 4 of 5: Notice that the wings for the top are at the bottom.  See if you can move them to the top by sliding the pieces around.
  • 5 of 5: Below is the full Junior solution in 40 moves.  Print the above pictures, since I use those numbers in the solution.
