Here are some things to remember while playing the game:

1) Keep a pad of paper handy and take notes. Important things can be found in books and other items that Nancy finds. If you see a special symbol, try to sketch it and jot down any words or phrases with it.

2) Each time you return to Nancy's bedroom, read the notes she has written in her journal.

3) Examine every room carefully and pick up everything you can.

4) Talk with all of the other characters early in the game. Return to ask them questions often. They always work in the same area of the house where you originally meet them. Ask as many questions as you can during each visit.

5) You can get some answers from Nancy's friends, too. Call them using the Parlor telephone.

6) If nothing is happening, set the alarm on Nancy's clock to move time forward.
