I need help with the bannister spindles!

  • 2 of 5: Each of the wooden spindles has 4 sides containing a letter.  Clicking on each of the posts turns one or more of them around.
  • 3 of 5: Since there are 5 poles, you are looking for a 5 letter word.  Do you know what word to spell?
  • 4 of 5: It might help to work this puzzle on paper.  Write down what letters appear on each side of each post.  Also record the ones that turn when you click on each.
  • 5 of 5: The puzzles and number of moves are completely different for Junior Detectives than for Senior Detectives, so I have split the hints in that way.
