Nancy Drew: Treasure in the Royal Tower Hints
Senior Detective Puzzle
1 of 7: For those of you who would like to work this out on paper, below is an illustration of what the Senior Detective puzzle looks like in the beginning.
2 of 7: Since screen colors are different between computers, what I call "yellow" may not look the same on your screen. There are animal drawings on each one to help distinguish them apart: Yellow -- Tiger; Blue -- Wolf; Pink -- Cobra; Gray -- Eagle.
3 of 7: REMEMBER: If you use my solution, you -must- follow my directions -in order- from start to finish.
4 of 7: To form a path for the yellow circle to follow, begin forming blockades with the other circles. Move pink left; move gray up, left, and up; move the blue left. Your blockades are in position now, so move the yellow circle up, left, down, and then left to home. (Wasn't that easy?)
5 of 7: Now let's get the blue home. Begin by moving the pink circle up to the top. Then the gray circle down, right, up, left, and up. Move the blue circle up (the gray stops it in exactly the right spot). Move the blue out of the way to the right now to make room. You'll need a left-side blockade before you move the blue back, so use the gray one. Move the gray circle down, left and then up to put it underneath the pink one. Move blue left and down to its home. (That was the hardest one. The rest are easier!)
6 of 7: Let's get the pink circle home now. Move the gray circle right and up. Then move the pink down, right, up, right, up, left, and down to home. (Easy as pie!)
