Nancy Drew: Treasure in the Royal Tower Hints

What should I do with the medallions once I have them all?

  • 1 of 11: Did you watch the Professor's movie all the way through?
  • 2 of 11: After you have watched the movie, something is different in the Portrait Alcove on the Second floor.
  • 3 of 11: Now you can zoom in on a hole underneath the portrait.
  • 4 of 11: Insert each medallion.  Then zoom in as close as you can to examine the designs.  Make a note of them (they are different for each medallion).
  • 5 of 11: The words are written in French. One of the other guests can give you the English translation.
  • 6 of 11: Go see Professor Hotchkiss in the lounge between 3 and 6 am.  She will translate the French for you.
  • 7 of 11: If it has been a full day since you left Marie's Journal with her, she will have it translated too.
  • 8 of 11: Remember to look for Marie's decoder that the Professor.
  • 9 of 11: It is important that you pick up and read that decoder.
  • 10 of 11: Nancy will make comments about it -if- you looked at each one in the Portrait Alcove.  Her response triggers something else in the Tower at the end of the game.
  • 11 of 11: After you hear Nancy's comments, you are ready to go back to the Tower with the medallions.
