How can I figure out the alarm code?

  • 1 of 8: Before this will work, you must have watched Dexter touch the keypad from the other entrance into the Library.
  • 2 of 8: Dexter's fingerprints are still on the keys.
  • 3 of 8: A magazine article in Nancy's room explains all about fingerprints.
  • 4 of 8: Dusting the keys will show you which ones he pushed.
  • 5 of 8: Study the darkness or lightness of the prints for the order he pressed them.
  • 6 of 8: According to the article, he would have pushed the key with the darkest fingerprint first and the lightest one last.
  • 7 of 8: Press the four keys in order.  When you think you have the code, try it.  If it works, it will be "approved" and the alarm will become disabled.
  • 8 of 8: If you are having trouble with the alarm code, the correct keys are given in the next hint.
