How do I open the box with the faces on it?

  • 1 of 11: This box was addressed to Henrik, so it must be the Fool key.
  • 2 of 11: Make all of the faces look "foolish" to get it open.
  • 3 of 11: Look to see what can be moved on this box. The eyes!  What would make their eyes look silly?
  • 4 of 11: Cross them!  Oh-oh .. clicking on a couple of them moves others.
  • 5 of 11: This is a cute variation of a puzzle I've worked many times before. It's fairly simple to figure out, and there are many ways to solve it.
  • 6 of 11: Number the eyes from 1 through 6 from left to right. Now test what clicking on each one does to the others.
  • 7 of 11: I solved it in 4 moves. To work my solution, start the puzzle fresh by backing away from it and approaching the box again.
  • 8 of 11: For your first move, pick one of them that moves more than one other eye (besides itself).  Click on eye no. 1.  It turns and so do eyes 5 & 6.
  • 9 of 11: Your next 2 moves should be for eyes that move only one other beside itself.  (Keep reading to find out which eyes those are.)
  • 10 of 11: The last move should be the number 3, which doesn't effect any of the others.
  • 11 of 11: My moves to solve it were: 1, 6, 4, 3.  Click on the lid of the box to lift it off and get the contents.
