Should I play the game in any particular order?
Each person is different, so you will probably do things in a different order than when I did. That's one of the things that make the game fun.
Your actions (whether it be picking up objects, talking to the other characters, reading something, or solving a puzzle) directly effect what will happen next.
Explore everywhere you can, whenever you can. If you can't open a door or work a puzzle, make a note of it and go do something else.
