Where are the pieces of wood?
1 of 6: One piece of wood can be found somewhere near the east side of the cabin. The east side of the cabin is out through the side door. (Meanwhile, the south side of the cabin faces the lake, out through the front door. And on the north side of the cabin you can see the driveway, blocked by the fallen tree. Check the compass stone set in the ground outside, next to the basement doors, to learn your directions.)

3 of 6: Another piece of wood is somewhere along a path leading away from the east side of the cabin.
4 of 6: It is sitting on a stone along a path leading away from the east side of the cabin.
