What do I learn from reading the journal?
1 of 6: You learn five interesting things upon reading the journal.
2 of 6: You learn of the existence of a "speakeasy", or private club serving liquor during the days of Prohibition. Apparently Malone had a speakeasy somewhere on his property, to the delight of his guests.
3 of 6: You learn of 600 pounds of gold in twenty gold bars that Malone apparently stole in the Hole-in-the-Floor Gold Heist and subsequently hid two years before his arrest.
4 of 6: You learn that William Akers' son was named Joe, and you remember that Emily said Jeff Akers' father was named Joe.
5 of 6: You learn of the existence of tunnels near the speakeasy, one of which is accessed by a entering a pass code into some spigots.
