Nancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake Hints

Where else is the date of Malone's arrest written?

  • 1 of 4: There is information to be found in the cemetery that will help you determine the date of Malone's arrest.
  • 2 of 4: Look on the four gravestones of the four dogs.  Do you see any information on the dog's gravestones that might indicate this date?
  • 3 of 4: Look at the "death" date of each dog.
  • 4 of 4: Each dog is shown to have died on the same day, January 29, 1932.  Apparently, William Akers, who arranged the gravestones for his employer's dogs, solemnly put the date of Malone's arrest down as the day all his dogs died, just as Malone requested.  Even though Red tells you the story of how the dogs wandered the forest long after that date, the poor dogs were as good as dead the day their master was taken away, never to return.
