Nancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake Hints

I see something odd about the entrances in the speakeasy.

  • 1 of 3: Yes, we noticed something odd also.  Although Vivian said only Mickey Malone and William Akers knew how to enter the speakeasy from the house (which makes sense) and said everyone else had to enter through the cemetery, once you are inside the speakeasy it is the public entrance that is concealed, and it is the house entrance that is obvious, instead of the other way around.
  • 2 of 3: We asked Her Interactive about this one.  They explained that Malone designed the speakeasy so that if the Feds ever came in through his house, he could use the small hidden door to escape into the tunnels.  The big doors were decorative, and designed to look like decoys.  Once opened, patrons (or Feds who did manage to come through the tunnel) would just see a wall.  Also, after traveling through the tunnels, few people would realize that they were actually under a house.
  • 3 of 3: Okay, but that still means that large groups of people would enter and exit the speakeasy from a small, hidden door, and only two people would enter and exit the speakeasy from the grand, beautiful door.
