So, what IS that squeaking sound?

  • 1 of 7: Have you entered the basement?
  • 2 of 7: If you are in the basement now, you'll notice that the sound is louder in one area than it is in others.
  • 3 of 7: Examine every inch of this area closely.  There is something more to be found here.
  • 4 of 7: If you haven't found anything yet, pay close attention to the wall above a pile of coal, near the middle shelf of barrels.
  • 5 of 7: Ah, you've found a safe!
  • 6 of 7: Deer mice nesting in the safe are making the squeaking sound.  Do you remember the warning Jeff Akers gave you concerning deer mice and Hentavirus?
