Nancy Drew: The Haunted Carousel Hints
How do I talk to Detective Perris about the old jewel heist?
1 of 4: Paula Santos contacted detective Perris today, and she asked him to call you on your cell phone. You may wait for him to call, or you may call him yourself if you have his telephone number.
2 of 4: When you do speak with Detective Perris, you suggest to him your theory that whoever stole the horse from the carousel recently may have done so to recover jewelry stashed inside twenty-three years ago. He admits that this may be possible, and decides to investigate. He wonders if the man convicted of the jewel heist, who died in prison over a year ago, may have confided in another prisoner before he died -- a prisoner who may have recently been released. Perris promises to call you and let you know what he finds.
3 of 4: Has Detective Perris called you back?
4 of 4: Perris eventually calls you back, and says that his hunch was right. He just learned that before the felon, Chas Dunning, died while in the New Jersey State Prison, he became good friends with his cellmate. This cellmate was paroled just two months ago. He doesn't have the cellmate's name since he used so many aliases, but his description is dark hair, medium build, clean-shaven, and heavy Jersey accent. Do you know anyone that fits that description?
