Nancy Drew: The Haunted Carousel Hints
How do I solve Miles third, and final, riddle?
1 of 7: After you determine the name of Joy's favorite horse, Miles presents the third and final riddle from Joy's father: "Ask Tink for the book you and I used to read About Kessler and Amelia so kind. Give her nickname a spin on spook number ten, Then the brass prize arrange on its forearm so strange, And something long-lost and cherished you'll find."
2 of 7: Joy can't solve this riddle now -- she admits that it was she who turned off the power to the roller coaster, which then shut down the park. She had blamed Ms. Santos for her father's death, just like she blamed her carousel horse for her mother's death. Now that she realizes what she's done, she says she must go and apologize to Ms. Santos while you solve the riddle without her.
3 of 7: Have you re-read the riddle? Look again at it -- especially the first three lines.
4 of 7: Apparently, a book that Joy and her father used to read contains Amelia Kessler's nickname. When you learn the nickname, you're supposed to "give it a spin on Spook Number 10" -- whatever that means. But to get the book, you're supposed to ask Tink. Have you asked Trent about this book?
5 of 7: Although it wasn't supposed to work out like this, you're going to have to think of some other way to learn Amelia Kessler's nickname, if you want to solve Miles' third riddle.
