Nancy Drew: The Haunted Carousel Hints
Does this game have any funny "bloopers"?
1 of 6: Her Interactive does an incredible job perfecting each of their games, but a small handful of funny things occasionally escape the notice of their testers. This game is no exception.
2 of 6: The author has found three funny bloopers.
3 of 6: One blooper can be found in Captain's Quarters hotel room. Normally when Nancy orders a room service meal, then steps away from the completed meal, she can see the dirty dishes on her table. However, what if Nancy orders a room service meal, then orders a second, different meal. When she steps away from the second meal she can see the dirty dishes of the first meal suddenly appear.
4 of 6: Another blooper can be found in the art studio. Late in the game, when the UPS box of horsetails has arrived, Nancy may approach the box and open it (if Elliott is not present in the room, of course). However, when she has finished looking inside the box and then steps away from it, the box mysteriously seals itself again.
5 of 6: And finally, another blooper can be found during the end game sequence. When the villain has chased Nancy up the stairs and has trapped her in the room there, a clear-thinking Nancy might consider using her phone at the point to call Detective Parris at the police station, even as the villain is closing in on her. However, if Nancy attempts to take her phone out then, she reconsiders, whispering to herself, "It would be rude to use my phone now!"
6 of 6: Feel free to email the author at patrick-uhs-hints@prhart.com if you find any other bloopers.
