Nancy Drew: Danger on Deception Island Hints
How do I use it?
The laptop has two main uses: receiving e-mail and doing research.
Receiving e-mail is a matter of clicking on the "mail" icon. (Note that you can't send e-mail, only receive it.) In this game, when someone sends you an important e-mail, they'll tell you so.
To do research, click on the DI Portal icon. There are a lot of links on the homepage screen, so look for hotspots. To research specific items, click on the "Search" icon to bring up a list of searchable topics. Other topics will be added to this list as you go along, so check back here if there's something you need but can't find.
There's also Nancy's journal, which will help you keep track of what you've done so far. If you're playing as a Junior Detective, there's also a section called "Notes" that's essentially a to-do list. This won't tell you *how* to do these things, but it will keep you on track to some extent.
