When should I use it?
You can call Nancy's friends (the Hardy boys or Bess and George) any time you want. They'll comment on the things you've discovered, which is sometimes helpful and sometimes not. In this game, call the Hardy boys to get a gentle nudge in the right direction.
You'll also come across other people you want to call in the course of the game. As soon as you have a need, the number will appear in your directory.
Be aware that Nancy is a polite young lady, besides being a professional paranoid. She won't use the cell phone when someone else can overhear the conversation. Move away before you try to dial.
