In the last scenes, which buttons should I push?
1 of 7: If you're asking this question, you've probably already seen one of the two endings. Fail to push the buttons in order and in time, and you will see a spectacular "bad" ending. To see the "good" ending, keep reading.
2 of 7: As far as I know there are no in-game clues about this puzzle. Your objective is to unlock the door and get inside the next room, stopping the sorcerer before he can finish his incantation. Since it seems to be a matter of pure guesswork, the answers are in the following hints.
3 of 7: The buttons on the 7 pillars control the elaborate locks on the door. For these examples, turn so your back is to the door and number the pillars from 1 to 7 beginning with the one on your left. (Number 1 has a single horizontal line and number 7 has a single vertical line.)
4 of 7: For the best results, begin immediately upon entering the pillar area even before you hear the sorcerer's chanting.

6 of 7: Press the buttons on the columns in this order. 2-3-5-4 and then 2-6-4-7 and then 2-1.
