Where is the City?

  • 1 of 15: After you have done the proper research in the Providence Library and finish the map the librarian produces, the location of the City of the Ancients will appear on your inventory map.
  • 2 of 15: The City itself is below ground. The strange structures you find here are the workings of a huge lock.
  • 3 of 15: Do the shapes of the stones look familiar?
  • 4 of 15: The pyramid-shaped prism Edgar gave you at the very beginning of the game has those shapes on it too.
  • 5 of 15: The large stones should be moved to match the drawings on your pyramid.
  • 6 of 15: One of the stones looks like a ship's anchor. Move the rod closer to the edge as shown on your prism.
  • 7 of 15: Another resembles a compass needle. Center the rod in the semi-circle.
  • 8 of 15: The upright partial circle should be moved so that the left edge is lower than the right edge.
  • 9 of 15: When you have aligned them correctly, a panel will open with a keyhole inside.
  • 10 of 15: You have had the Key for quite awhile.
  • 11 of 15: Open up the alchemy kit (bottom inventory circle) and get the long Key of the Ancients. Use it on the lock.
  • 12 of 15: A pyramid-shaped lock appears next. Use your pyramid on it.
  • 13 of 15: Picking up the three new pyramids causes the earth to shake and move.
  • 14 of 15: One of the large stones was also pyramid-shaped.
  • 15 of 15: Go to it and click on the hotspot to open the stairway to the City.
