Why can't I climb the stairs?
1 of 3: You need to go down first.
2 of 3: If you pull a lever near the stairs, you'll be sent down to the basement instead, but you can return the stairs to normal from here.
3 of 3: There will be a box at the base of the stairs -- if you turn a crank on it, you can "fix" the stairs, so that you can go up.
