I can't reach the ladder!
1 of 5: You need to find something that will lower it.
2 of 5: There are controls nearby.
3 of 5: Look for something that resembles the asylum.
4 of 5: There's a model of it just next to the bed where you found the hammer.
5 of 5: Press the button on the bottom of that model. Press it, and the ladder will lower enough that you can reach it.
