A New Beginning Hints
How do I analyze the things I found?
1 of 7: First use your 5 senses: touch it, look at it, sniff at it etc. (Not really necessary for the story, but I think it triggers a game flag.)
2 of 7: For a deeper analysis use the mass spectrometer in the research lab.
3 of 7: Just open the spectrometer at its front side and put the sample into the test tube. Then activate the mass spectrometer.
4 of 7: To analyze the bottle cap, you first have to find something that smells like it.
5 of 7: There were only a few things so far you could smell.
6 of 7: Smell the lab coat to recognize this smell as the same as the one from the bottle cap.
7 of 7: As you can't put the whole lab coat into the spectrometer, cut the sleeve that smells and use that as a sample.
