A New Beginning Hints
How do I start the generators?
1 of 8: Try to use the switches.
2 of 8: Each switch has to be used twice and moves the floater at the scale either up or down by a specific value (which can vary between the first and the second time). If the floater tries to exceed minimum or maximum the puzzle is reset. You can always reset the puzzle with the red switch on the top left.
3 of 8: The most important switch is the one on the right. It brings the floater from maximum to minimum the first time it is switched, so try to find out how to reach exactly the maximum.
4 of 8: Using switch 1 and 4 (numbered from left to right) brings the floater to maximum after a puzzle reset. So start with 1,4,5.
5 of 8: Strangely enough, if you use the 1,4 combination a second time it also reaches exactly maximum although starting from a completely different position.
6 of 8: Use switch 5 again and this time the floater only lowers a bit.
7 of 8: Use switch 2 two times to bring the floater to a level low enough to use switch 3 two times without reaching maximum.
8 of 8: To sum it up one possible solution (not the only one) is 1-4-5-1-4-5-2-2-3-3.
