How do I find the safe combination?
of 15: The same journal that held the clue to finding the key also contains the clue to the combination.
of 15: Of course, the clue isn't at all obvious -- perhaps not even easily visible.
of 15: Is there anything you can use to help you examine the book closely?
of 15: Perhaps a magnifying glass would be helpful.
of 15: To look at the journal with the magnifying glass, you will need to do so from within the inventory area. Left-click on the magnifying glass, then when the cursor changes to include the magnifier, move the magnifier over to the journal in the inventory. Click again.
of 15: The magnifying glass reveals that there is something unusual about the journal. Right-click on the journal in the inventory to look at the final page.
of 15: Perhaps there is more to learn, if you only knew how to reveal it.
of 15: Have you ever written a "secret message" with lemon juice?
of 15: The message is virtually invisible until...
of 15: ... the paper is carefully heated.
of 15: Since you'll need to be careful not to burn the paper when it is heated, you'll need a radiant heat source (not a direct flame).
of 15: A helpful item can be found inside the study.
of 15: Take the iron from the desk.
of 15: When you first find the iron, it is completely cold. This is not a modern iron that plugs in, but rather an old fashioned iron that needs to be heated before it can be used.
