NiBiRu Hints
What do I do with the sliding tile puzzle?
of 10: The goal, of course, is to place the tiles into their correct places. But it is impossible to determine what the correct places are without some help. Note: A full step-by-step solution cannot be provided, since the positions of the tiles are randomized in each game.
of 10: Have you tried moving any tiles yet? To move a tile simply click on the tile you wish to move (a tile can only be moved if it is next to the empty space.)
of 10: Have you moved the tiles in such a way that the center space is visible?
of 10: It seems that something is missing from the center.
of 10: Conveniently enough, you already have the item needed.
of 10: Remember the "Amulet of the Kings" that White Bear gave you?
of 10: Place the amulet into the indentation in the center of the puzzle. Once the amulet is in place, move the tiles around and see what is underneath.
of 10: It can be difficult to remember the correct placement of the tiles, so it is helpful to have a diagram of where each should go. One-by-one, move the tiles and look at the pictures underneath, and on a separate piece of paper, mark out the correct placement of each tile (it isn't necessary to draw the entire shape, but only to sketch a few key points, or write a brief description of each tile).
of 10: Start by selecting a row (or column) where you wish to begin and complete that row (or column) first.
of 10: At this point, it is usually necessary to work on the final two rows (or columns) together in order to move the remaining tiles into place.
