How do I get the oil can?

  • 1 of 9: You won't be able to reach the can of oil.  (If only the game would let you dip your shoes in the water...)
  • 2 of 9: Well, if you can't go to the oil, then you'll need to figure out a way to bring the oil to you.
  • 3 of 9: Hmm...  Too bad Martin didn't bring his fishing gear.
  • 4 of 9: Martin can make his own version of a fishing line and hook -- he'll just have to be creative with supplies available.
  • 5 of 9: One item is already in the inventory (something Martin picked up before entering the tunnels) -- the other can be found after solving a puzzle nearby.
  • 6 of 9: After you've completed a few tasks at the lift, you will have a useful item available to you.
  • 7 of 9: Once the chained crate is lowered to the floor, you'll be able to pick up a hook that held the chains together over the crate.
  • 8 of 9: So, if you take the hook from the crate, and the rope from your inventory, you could combine them into an "anchor".
  • 9 of 9: Use the anchor on the can of oil to drag it closer to the edge of the water, where Martin could pick it up.
