Nikopol: Secrets of the Immortals Hints
General Hints
This is a first-person point and click adventure game. As such, it has a slightly less traditional feel than many recent third-person adventures. However, the basic premise is the same. You need to explore your surroundings thoroughly, think outside the box, collect every object that isn't nailed down, speak thoroughly with every available character, and above all, use your brain! The puzzles in Nikopol are mostly very well-crafted and logical, and there shouldn't be too many occasions when you're scratching your brain wondering what to do.
Nikopol tries hard to convey a sense of danger, and one of the ways in which is does this is to have a fair number of situations where your character can die. While this isn't traditional adventure-game fare, the death scenes are never truly fatal, as you're always taken back to the beginning of the sequence to try again. No situation is unwinnable, no matter how quick that guard's trigger-finger may seem to be, so just keep thinking about it and you'll eventually figure out the correct answer.
