Nine: The Last Resort Hints
How do I solve this puzzle?
of 16: You can solve this puzzle two ways.
of 16: One way is to gather up and compile all the information you have found so far about music notes, alphabet letters, and notation boxes (those half-colored squares) and piece it all together to determine which alphabet letters align with which musical note symbols. (This was the way I did it...)
of 16: There is a much easier way, however.
of 16: MUCH easier. And all the clues you need are right here in Aura's room.
of 16: Have you explored all the tapestry-covered alcoves in this room yet?
of 16: Specifically, the Woman and Pig tapestry alcove?
of 16: After you align the 3 rotating wheels correctly in the Woman and Pig tapestry alcove, you will be able to get a clue about how to align the Wheel of Fortune.
of 16: You've worked hard and done a lot of walking around in this house.
of 16: Why not go sit down for a while.
of 16: Have a seat in the throne. Some controls will rotate into view.
of 16: Push the red button.
of 16: You should see the 3 big eyeballs project an image on the stained glass window above the door at the far end of the room.
of 16: It is an image of part of the Wheel of Fortune.
of 16: Watch the image; it will rotate back and forth and then settle on an alignment between a letter of the alphabet and a musical note symbol. This match will then flash.
of 16: Use the single matching pair to align the entire Wheel in the alcove.
of 16: NOTE: At this point, it would be a good idea to fill in the rest of your music chart/keyboard that you started at the beginning of the game. Didn't start one yet? Unless you have a photographic memory, NOW would be a good time to make one. You will need to have note symbols, alphabet letters, and keyboard keys matched up; this is your code-breaker and will be crucial for solving Endgame.
