Where can I find a guitar string?

  • 1 of 14: There are two guitar strings that you can find in the Mansion: an "E" string and a "G" string.
  • 2 of 14: One string is in Aura's room.
  • 3 of 14: The other string is hidden randomly.
  • 4 of 14: Precise locations of both strings are listed below.
  • 5 of 14: The "E" string is located in the left-most drawer of the desk in the Unicorn and Jester Tapestry alcove in Aura's room.
  • 6 of 14: The "G" string was stolen by the Twins.
  • 7 of 14: It will be hidden somewhere in the Mansion or in the Chasm.
  • 8 of 14: Have you found the bar in the Chasm yet?
  • 9 of 14: The string may be in the cabinet beneath the bar.
  • 10 of 14: This string might also be hidden in another part of Aura's room.
  • 11 of 14: Look in the mouse hole underneath the Wheel of Fortune in Aura's room (after you have removed the mouse). 
  • 12 of 14: There may be other locations that this string can be hidden; it is random from game to game!
  • 13 of 14: Lucille asks for the "G" string.  When you find it, bring it to her.
  • 14 of 14: As far as I could tell, the "E" string was a red herring.  I could not find a use for it anywhere in the game.
