How can I get past the puzzle in the attic?
1 of 6: The object of this puzzle is to move across the checkerboard without hitting any of the creatures.
2 of 6: You could try to figure out a pattern that the characters follow and then avoid them as you cross.
3 of 6: Or just try to bully your way across as fast as you can.
4 of 6: Try, try, and try again also works, if you are patient enough.

6 of 6: There is no artificial intelligence at work here, so the best way I found to complete this puzzle was to move to the center of the checkerboard, then wait until a clear path to the other side appeared. Then click like mad. It might take a few tries, but this method seems to work eventually; be persistent!
