Nine: The Last Resort Hints

How do I solve the Master Puzzle?

  • 1 of 12: There will be a number of stages/phases to completing this puzzle, each round a little more challenging than the last.
  • 2 of 12: On the Jungle Organ keyboard, you must play the notes that the Totems show you each time they turn around.
  • 3 of 12: You will be allowed three attempts to try and fail.  On the fourth try, you must get it right, or the game is over.
  • 4 of 12: Each stage of the puzzle is timed; once the Totems have turned around, you will have about 10 seconds to start the tune.  If you wait too long, you burn one of your four attempts.
  • 5 of 12: On the Totems, you will see alphabet letters, music symbols, and notation squares in a selection of colors.
  • 6 of 12: You have seen almost all of these things before.
  • 7 of 12: Have your code-breaker handy, and play each of the notes indicated on the Totems at each stage.  The Turnip guy will let you know if you are right or wrong in what you play.
  • 8 of 12: The Twins will try to interrupt you as you play, so make sure you hold each key down until you hear the note play for a couple of seconds.
  • 9 of 12: If you press a key and hear nothing, just keep holding it down until you DO hear it; when the Twins are hurling insults, they will "drown out" the organ.
  • 10 of 12: You can hold down each note pretty much as long as you like, but if you wait too long BETWEEN each note, the puzzle will time out and the Totems will turn away from you (and you lose a turn at solving the tune).
  • 11 of 12: You will be shown the SAME letters/symbols/boxes for each phase through all four of your turns to get it right.  Once you play what you see correctly (within 4 tries), you will move on to the next phase where a new set of notes will be displayed.
  • 12 of 12: The next set of hints will walk you through what you are likely to see on the Totems during each phase of the Master Puzzle.  Each game is different, so there is no "one solution."  Sorry.
