Nine: The Last Resort Hints
How do I operate the jukebox?
of 16: The jukebox is already operational because of the activated boiler, but you must still play the correct record in order to obtain an item that you will need later in the game.
of 16: The four buttons on the front of the machine control which selection is played.
of 16: You must enter the correct sequence using the buttons to play the right record.
of 16: The buttons show four colors and four ghastly faces.
of 16: Where have you seen these faces before?
of 16: There was a row of them along the back wall in the Drum Room.
of 16: If you like, feel free to enter some random codes into the jukebox control panel first. Occasionally, a random code will trigger the machine to play a different record for your listening pleasure. Some of these selections can be quite literally... hilarious.
of 16: After you solve the wall of masks, you will be shown an image of four mask faces on four background colors. The masks and background colors might be the same or different.
of 16: Make a note of which masks and colors are shown and what order they are in (#1, #2, #3, #4).
of 16: These four masks and four colors will provide you with the correct code for the jukebox control panel.
of 16: At the jukebox, use the buttons to select a face and a color for space
of 16: Then do the same thing for spaces 2, 3, and 4.
of 16: When you get it right, the hand will select a record with a big chunk missing from it.
of 16: When this record is played on the turntable, the needle arm will fall through the hole in the record, jamming the mechanism.
