How can I get past the pillars with the blue barriers that block the path?
1 of 6: You can't bash them or interact with them in any other way, and they don't periodically change. Maybe there's some trick of perception you can use here.
2 of 6: Your character automatically unequipped the puzzle ring when you entered the lair for some reason. Why not re-equip it?
3 of 6: Notice how that changes the locations of the perceived blue barriers.
4 of 6: But you still can't get all the way to the other side.
5 of 6: So alternate!
6 of 6: Go as far as you can with the puzzle ring off, then put it on and go as far as you can, then take it off and go as far as you can, etc. That'll soon get you to the gem miners' area.
