Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark Hints
How do the rogue stones and the Relic of the Reaper work?
1 of 7: They're your main teleportation gimmick for this expansion.
2 of 7: Why not ask the Reaper himself about how the system works?
3 of 7: To get to the Reaper's realm, use the relic's special power to get a dialogue box, then choose "jump to binding" and "teleport back to Gatehouse."
4 of 7: Talk to the Reaper to learn how the relic works and what it uses rogue stones for.
5 of 7: Thankfully, it only costs a rogue stone to respawn when killed and to create a teleport destination point (or "bind point") for one of the five planar doors. Using the relic to visit the Reaper's realm doesn't use a stone, and neither does using a planar door to leave the realm.
6 of 7: NOTE: You can always use the special planar door that's near the Reaper to return to the area you started the current chapter in.
7 of 7: You start the game with one rogue stone and can get four more soon after you start, so you're able to bind all five planar doors right away. Use the stones sparingly, however, since they can't be gotten back once used. (For instance, unbinding a planar door does *not* return the rogue stone you used to bind it.)
