How can I get through the trap maze safely?
1 of 5: As you approach the maze and navigate around in it, you should be able to see the trapped floor sections glow in red. This outlines the narrow safe pathways that you can walk on without taking damage.
2 of 5: At the north end of the room are two floor levers that will destroy the missile-firing pillars that zap you whenever you step on a trapped floor section.
3 of 5: If you just want to get through the room and to the rest of the level 1 north area, you could quickly run for the door that's in the east wall. The zappy pillars will hit you several times, but only for a very few points of damage per hit. If you're not near death when you start out, you should make it.
4 of 5: Or you could return to the central section and then find the other exit it has that leads to the north section. That'll avoid the trap maze completely.
5 of 5: If you really want to loot the treasure chest at the north end of the trap maze room, you'll have to either carefully make your way along the safe route, run straight north and take the damage, or bash the pillars from a safe distance with arrows (use elemental ones like fire arrows).
