Why won't the Knower sell me Mephistopheles' True Name?
1 of 5: The poor sappy girl is still in love with him, despite his devilish ways and dirty tricks.
2 of 5: You're going to have to compel her to tell you his name.
3 of 5: One of the options is to learn the Knower of Names' True Name, so do that first.
4 of 5: Then ask her about Mephistopheles' True Name. When she refuses to tell you, you'll be able to compel her to do so.
5 of 5: However, it'll still cost you 500,000 gold to learn Mephie's name, and that's on top of the 200,000 gold it cost to learn the Knower's name! For rich adventurers only.
