What's the maximum possible character level after finishing the game?
1 of 3: That can vary widely, depending on a number of things.
2 of 3: So far, I've played through the entire NWN game set with a fighter who ended as level 29 and a barbarian who ended as level 31. Both of them were taken through the original NWN campaign version 1.10 with henchmen, which maximizes XP. The barbarian ended up higher-level because he went through SoU and HoU without any henchmen, but the fighter had henchmen in both expansions. So the max level if you go for maximum XP (and no cheats of any kind are used) is about 30.
3 of 3: So how do you get all the way up to the new max of level 40? Well, you're supposed to be encouraged to play online with your character after finishing HoU, but I'm going to go back and play through the whole NWN game set again. And why not? It'll be lots of fun with my mega-tough characters and all their great equipment! (And with the v1.62 patch and its epic character XP glitch, I'll get tons of XP from all the weak monsters!)
